2007 The Fifth China International Meat Industry Exhibition Facts and Figures

　　 China International Meat Industry Exhibition （CIMIE）conducted by International Meat Secretariat （IMS）and China Meat Association （CMA）. It is also only show that IMS supports as an organizer. CIMIE is held once a year. It has been one of the most popular shows in the world, which provides global meat companies with a good platform for communication and business.

　　 Exhibiting content includes the entire meat industry chain from farm to table breeding, feeding, slaughtering, processing, distribution, and some new & technology.

　　 Over 40,000 market players came to visit CIMIE2007, 86.5% of visitors are from China and 13.5% of them came from other 37 countries in the world.
　　 The main origin of foreign visitor: European countries, America, Asia, and some countries of Oceania Such as Australia and New Zealand, and South Africa.
　　 Meat processing and meat trade occupied the first place among statistics on visitors’ business. Others are as shown in the graph below.
Majority of exhibiting companies at CIMIE2007 are satisfied: 56.9% described CIMIE2007 as a good or excellent event, 38.7% regarded it as a favorable one.
　　 We got the positive result after CIMIE2007: 91.4% will take part in CIMIE2008 and 40% have reserved stands among them. We got the following figure after investigation by asking would you like to participate in CIMIE2008.
　　 Majority of visitors have expressed their satisfaction: 65.2% of visitors are satisfied greatly.
　　 90% of visitors would like to visit CIMIE2008 while only 1% does not plan on visiting.
